About DangleData
DangleData is a free, independent stats site for people who follow NHL and NFL player props. It answers one question quickly: how often has this player actually cleared this line lately?
Every morning during the season we pull each player's game log from the leagues' public APIs, load the day's player prop lines from major U.S. sportsbooks, and compute hit rates for the last 5, 10 and 15 games against each posted line. On game days we refresh again about an hour before the first game so lines are current.
What you get
- A dashboard that ranks every player with a line today by their last-10 hit rate, filterable by stat, game and alternate line.
- Game logs with opponent context, such as how many shots the opponent allows per game.
- A per-player page for every skater, goalie and NFL skill-position player with season stats and hit rates against common lines.
- A watchlist and parlay calculator that live in your browser only. We do not have accounts and we never see your picks.
What we are not
We are not a sportsbook, we do not take bets, and we do not sell picks. Hit rates describe the past; they are not predictions and not betting advice. DangleData is not affiliated with or endorsed by the NHL, the NFL, any team, player or sportsbook.
Data sources
Player and team statistics come from the NHL's and ESPN's public APIs. Betting lines come from The Odds API, aggregated across U.S. bookmakers. Lines change constantly; always confirm the current number at your sportsbook.
