How to read a hit rate
A hit rate is the share of a player's recent games in which they finished over a given line. If Connor McDavid has cleared 0.5 points in 8 of his last 10 games, his hit rate against that line is 80%. The dashboard defaults to each player's main sportsbook line and the last 10 regular-season games; the line filter lets you compare alternates.
Hit rates are descriptive, not predictive: they tell you what happened, not what will. Use them alongside matchup context such as opponent shot volume, which we show in each player's game log. Read more in How It Works.
